As a creative producer, Jahnavi facilitates artistic workshops which engage participants with stories of joy and empowerment to celebrate, reframe and document our collective and personal histories. Through her workshops she emphasises the importance of documenting history for posterity, as awell as using creative expression as a tool for empowerment and liberation.

Hew Locke: The Procession

Responding to Hew Locke's art installation The Procession each participant created a small 'portable history' which spoke to a positive memory, place or object from their past.

Aim: Emphasise the importance of documenting and carrying positive stories from our past to encourage and empower us for the future.

Appliqué Workshop

A workshop for mis-represented and unheard young girls aged 14-16 who are within the youth offending system.

Aim: Engage young people with craft as a form of self-expression, producing an artwork which affirms and speaks to their personal thoughts and beliefs.
